Linux Silent New Version Installation (Avalonia)

Time Champ Installation Guide for Linux

Follow the steps below to ensure a clean and successful installation of the Time Champ application:

Step 1: Check for Existing Installation

  • Verify if a previous version of the Time Champ application is already installed on the user's system.

Step 2: Uninstall Previous Version (if applicable)

If an earlier version is detected:

  1. Download the Uninstall.bash script from the provided source.

  2. Open the Terminal and navigate to the Downloads folder:
    cd ~/Downloads
    
  3. Run the uninstall script:
    bash Uninstall.bash
    

Step 3: Download and Install the Setup File

If no previous installation exists:

  1. Visit the Time Champ website.
  2. Navigate to:
    Download Agent → Linux → Silent
  3. Download the setup file and proceed with the installation as instructed.

Step 4: Prepare the AppImage File

  1. Download the Time Champ AppImage file.

  2. Move or paste the AppImage file into the svcvtt folder.

Step 5: Modify the Setup Script

  1. Open the timechamp-linux_64bit-setup file located in the svcvtt folder using a text editor.
  2. Delete the specified lines as per the configuration instructions.


Step 6: Run the Setup Script

  1. Open the terminal and navigate to the svcvtt folder:
    cd /Downloads/Svcvtt
    
  2. Execute the setup script:
    bash timechamp-linux_64bit-setup
    

✅ Once completed, the Time Champ application should be successfully installed and ready for use.
