How to assign application group to a new/existing app/URL and set the productivity status?

Follow the steps to assign an app or URL to an application group and assign the productivity status of that application group.

Notes
An application cannot be directly marked as productive, non-productive, or neutral. It must first be assigned to an application group, and the productivity status is then applied to that group. Steps 1 to 5 are to assign an application group to an app/URL and steps 6 and 7 are to set the productivity status of the application group.

Step 1:
Log into the site utilizing your credentials.



Step 2:
Navigate to the Productivity Module and then to the Configure Apps section.



Step 3:
Navigate to the Mapping Sub Section as shown in the highlighted are in the image below.



Notes
Skip to step 5 if you need to modify an existing app/URL to a different application group, only follow step 4 to create a new app/URL and assign it to application group.
Step 4a:
If the app/URL is not present in the mapping, then click on add new rule as shown in the highlighted are in the image below.



Step 4b:
Now you can enter the Application file name or the exe file name/ the URL link in the highlighted area in the below image along with the application group you would like to keep the application/URL in and click on add.



Step 5a:
If the application/URL is already present, then hover over the application group name of the required app/URL to see the edit option and then click on it as shown in the highlighted area in the below image.



Step 5b:
Now select the new application group from the dropdown menu to change it from the current application group as shown in the highlighted area in the below image.


Step 6:
Navigate to the Productivity Profile Sub Section.



Step 7:

Productivity Status Color Codes

  • Green – Productive

  • Yellow – Non-productive

  • Gray (white) – Neutral


To Change the Productivity Status

When both “Productive” and “Non-Productive” are deselected:

  1. Clicking on “Productive” changes the status from Neutral (white) → Productive (green).
  1. Clicking on “Non-Productive” changes the status from Neutral (white) → Non-Productive (yellow).

When one status is already active:

  1. Clicking on the other status switches between Productive (green) and Non-Productive (yellow).

When a highlighted status is clicked again:

  1. The status reverts back to Neutral (white) from either Productive (green) or Non-Productive (yellow).
