Installation of Timechamp V4 Silent Version in Linux

Step 1: Login into your Time Champ account.

Step 2: To install the application, click on download agent.

Step 3: Select the operating system of your computer.

Step4: If you would like to install the application on your admin account system, please select 'To Install Yourself'.

The application will then be installed on the super admin account.

If you want to install the application on your employee's system, then select To install for employees.

Click on To install for employees.

Step 5: Linux>To install for employees

Please select the installation mode (Silent).

​

Silent: Employees can’t see the tracker running in their system. It runs in the background.

Step 6: Click on the Checkbox I understand all the above and click on download.

Step 7: You will see a zip file in the downloads folder.

Note: Don't change the file name and keep the file in the dowloads folder only.

Step 8: Unzip the Svcvtt.Zip file

Open Svcvtt folder.

Here you can see two files- License and timechamp-linux_64bit-setup.bash.

Step 9:  Open the Terminal from this path.

Step 10: Run the following command to install the application:

bash timechamp-linux_64bit-setup.bash

or

chmod 777 timechamp-linux_64bit-setup.bash
./timechamp-linux_64bit-setup.bash

To ensure that the tracker is running on the system, you can check it in the System Monitor and also verify on your

admin dashboard whether the user has been created on the site with the system username and is showing as online.
